How are they constructed

They are what is known as a single ply but the thread is substantially thicker than those found on the finer mesh heads such as Roland or Remo etc. The way they are woven (3 across and 4 down) also plays a significant part in the way the drum head feels and adds to the overall strength.

After trying many variations, I have found these drum heads replicate the feel of a traditional Remo / Evans style batter drum head better than most traditional mesh heads currently available.
