With genuine 3-zone triggering across bow, edge, and choke, it delivers a full crash sound and a distinct ride sound from the same cymbal — perfect for compact setups where every trigger needs to earn its place. The 15" Crash/Ride is shipped with 2 cables so you can take advantage of your module 2 lead input to get full 3 zones - however if you already have a Ride cymbal you can use only one lead and it converts to a 2 zone crash using only one cymbal inpu on you module.

What's the difference between this and a dedicated crash or ride cymbal?

This 15" cymbal uses genuine 3-zone triggering to give you a crash sound from the edge and a soft ride sound from the bow, and a crisp ride sound from the bell— all from one pad. A 2 zone crash or ride only gives you bow and edge, so this is ideal when you want a traditional ride.

Can I use this cymbal with any electronic drum module?

Yes. The 15" Lemon 3-Zone Crash/Ride Cymbal uses a standard TRS connection compatible with all major electronic drum modules, including Roland, Alesis, and Yamaha. Having said that, it's always advisable to check your module's manual first to confirm compatibility.

Does this cymbal have choke functionality?

Yes — grabbing the edge of the cymbal while it's ringing will instantly mute the sound, just like choking a real crash or ride cymbal.

What's "3-zone" triggering and why does it matter?

3-zone means the cymbal has three separately triggered areas — bow, edge, and bell/choke. This lets your drum module distinguish between a ride pattern on the bow and a crash accent on the edge, giving you two genuinely different sounds from a single cymbal.
